We didn't want the fact that we were on the other side of the world stop us from having a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner. The main problem is that turkey isn't too common down here. The supermarkets do sell frozen turkeys, but they are too big for us and pretty expensive. We were able to find a turkey-log that we could cook up. We had asparagus, mashed potatoes, turkey, bread, and of course some nice wine from Waiheke Island.
We had a great dinner and hope that all of you did as well!

Looks delicious - glad you could find some turkey over there!! See you in 4 weeks! (:
p.s. pretty candle!
Carrie is crazy. That turkey log looks like balogna, not turkey. I think Mom W. needs to cook a turkey for Xmas dinner so you remember what you're supposed to eat at Thanksgiving!
p.s. Katie just reminded me that "Oscar Mayer has a way with b-o-l-o-g-n-a" (not bAlogne).
Oh it sure did taste good no matter what it looked like. The leftovers were even better!
I'm convinced Jeremy only owns RR tshirts.
Yeah, that might be true. He's wearing another one right now! It's the 2000 on - Stop, Drop, and Roll
